The End Times: What’s Not Set?

The answer is very simple.

Two things aren’t set.

  1. The building of the Temple on the Temple Mount.
  2. The economic conditions that warrant a One Person rule. The beast.

Acts 17:30-31 (NKJV) “Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

The part that says that God will judge the world in righteousness by the Man, is none other than the Lord Jesus Who was raised from the dead.

Is it a specific date or is it a series of events that’s considered the Day Of The Lord?

Well, in looking at the Scripture above, the answer is clear as far as when the Lord will judge the world.

In my estimation, judging the world is clearly seen in Revelation.

As we’ve discussed, the book of Daniel is front and center.

Daniel 9:24-27 (NKJV) “Seventy weeks are determined
For your people and for your holy city,
To finish the transgression,
To make an end of sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity,
To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.

“Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.

And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.

Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”

Where did the 70 weeks come from?

Daniel 9:1-2 (NKJV) “In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the lineage of the Medes, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans— in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the LORD through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.”

Here’s the reference in Jeremiah 25:11-13 (NKJV)

“And this whole land shall be a desolation and an astonishment, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. ‘Then it will come to pass, when seventy years are completed, that I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity,’ says the LORD; and I will make it a perpetual desolation.”

Why was Israel exiled to Babylon for 70 years?

2 Chronicles 36:15-21 (NKJV) “And the LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place. But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.

Therefore He brought against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, on the aged or the weak; He gave them all into his hand. And all the articles from the house of God, great and small, the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king and of his leaders, all these he took to Babylon.

Then they burned the house of God, broke down the wall of Jerusalem, burned all its palaces with fire, and destroyed all its precious possessions. And those who escaped from the sword he carried away to Babylon, where they became servants to him and his sons until the rule of the kingdom of Persia, to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths. As long as she lay desolate she kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.”

Israel sinned against the Lord is serving other gods AND not giving the land its Sabbaths as God commanded in Leviticus chapter 26.

So now that we understand where the 70 weeks came from, remember that 62 weeks and 7 weeks? We all know that 62+7=69. Add one more week, and it would be 70.

The word “Weeks” is symbolic for years.

How many days are in one week?

7 days.

It’s symbolic language for 7 years.

Most of the Bible Prophesy community look to the nations setting up and the coming of the beast and there’s nothing wrong with this because the Lord told us to “Watch and pray.”

It takes a team to effectively watch what we can so we could be ready as the Lord instructs is. No one in the Bible Prophesy community has a leg up on these events.

Anyone that claims to have ALL OF THE INFORMATION is absolutely insane.

So what’s missing?

It can’t be just these two things. And you’re right, but look at the totality of the events.

The economic conditions must be in place. And I might add, a significant weakening of military power which requires alliances (Psalm 83). Remember, for now, the US is the last superpower and it’s weakening each and every day.

Does it mean a total collapse of the world’s economy?

Look around. All of the major nations is experiencing major events that should have caused a complete collapse. The pandemic ushered in the kind of totalitarian emphasis that is seen in Revelation 13:11-18. All the indications point to the fact that when the beast sets his reign up, it will be in the middle of the week as prophesied in Daniel 9:26-27.

“Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”

So when you read the “middle of the week,” it’s speaking of in the middle of 7 years.

At the halfway point of the great tribulation period, the beast will break the covenant with the Jews and command them to discontinue their sacrifice.

So where do you think that the Jews will perform their sacrifice?

In the newly built Temple on the Temple Mount.

Remember. In 70 AD, the Romans, under the command of Titus, destroyed the Temple. The Lord Jesus prophesied the Temple’s destruction in Matthew 24:1-2.

For almost 2000 years, Jerusalem hasn’t had a Temple of the Jews to worship the Lord.

The destruction of the Temple would serve as a marker that would indicate to us that these are the end times.

The other things that are in place is the ability to track people. Our cellphones is the perfect device for tracking. Even if we were to shut off certain tracking features, it has the ability to know where you are.

Access to your bank accounts. For years, governments and banks have the ability to cut off your access to funds. Direct Deposits. Electronic paychecks systems. Credit Cards. The way we access them with fingerprint scanners, face recognition technology, eye scanning technology, implanting chips in the hands or anywhere on your body that you feel comfortable with.

And other technological advances. Cameras are set almost everywhere.

While it appears that we are ways away from as close to a fail safe system of controlling every human, the human resistance is still insurmountable.

Even during the tribulation period, compliance to the beast will be resisted.

Revelation 7:9-17 (NKJV) “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying,

“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying:

“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,
Thanksgiving and honor and power and might,
Be to our God forever and ever.

Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”
And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”

So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.

They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

And the beast will use death as the tool to get people to comply. Much like the vaccine for Covid. That if you refuse to get vaccinated, you will lose your job, or you can’t get hired.

In some places, this policy is still enforced. In other places, there’s much resistance.

Revelation 13:15-17 (NKJV) “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

Because people will know that if they take the mark of the beast, they will be an instant enemy of God and it’s an automatic ticket to the lake of fire to burn forever.

Revelation 14:9-12 (NKJV) “Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”

Finally, the two things that we should look for is…..

  1. The building of the Temple on the Temple Mount.
  2. The economic conditions that warrant a One Person rule. The beast.

The Minister's Crucible is designed to inform the Body of Christ about the inner workings of the ministry. The word Crucible from Latin, is "crux" where we get the word "cross" from. It also means a "metal container" where metals and other substances are melted or are subjected to higher temperatures, put to the temperature test. The Lord Jesus said "If any man desires to follow after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me." Let's take up our cross and follow Him.
