Zechariah 12:1-3 (NKJV) “The burden of the word of the LORD against Israel. Thus says the LORD, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.
And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.”
While in America, we’re so distracted with CRT, LGBTQI+, recovering economically from Covid lockdowns, vaccines, and masks, Russia and Ukraine, the southern boarder of Mexico, illegal immigration, we pay little attention to the center of the world.
The majority of Christians in America, at least those that profess to be, are distracted with the politics of our day. among Democrats and Republicans. We must conclude that most Democrats definitely hate this country and want to turn it into a third world country. Their policies is a clear indication of such hatred.
If we (Democrats and RINOs) can’t have it, we’ll destroy it.
A far as Republicans are concerned, when some of them fail to push back and succumb to the taunts of Democrats, they crawl back into the hole. No backbone. No stamina. It gives the appearance that they don’t stomach a fight. It could very well be that they’re a part of the system. Each time Democrats get in office, their agenda accomplishments is unchallenged.
The game is incrementalism. Little by little, each box is checked. Any set back is countered by a new way to push their agenda. And it’s succeeding. Once something becomes entrenched, it’s a building block to fulfill the ultimate goal down the road.
And part of it is hoping that the opposition would retire or die. They’ve introduced a new strategy for the mid 1990’s among homosexuals.
Wait them out.
Republicans have very little to show for it.
But this only is indicative of the inevitable downfall of this once beacon on a shining hill.
Now many have said that America is being judged, and to a degree, it’s correct, but the Scriptures is clear about judgment.
The church has often spoken of America’s judgment but very few put it in proper perspective.
First, according to Matthew 13, there’s tares among wheat.
I was corrected on this.
The houses of worship that are doing His will can’t be blamed for what the tares do. We don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. We keep the baby and throw out the dirty water.
Tares are poisonous. Also Jude tells us that false preachers, pastors (hirelings), teachers, apostles, and prophets will come in unnoticed. So the “wheat” can’t be held accountable for what the “tares” are doing and what they’ve done.
However, among the wheat, the Lord does chastise us. “Whom He loves, He chastens.”
We see this in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, chapters 1 through 3.
1 Peter 4:17-18 (NKJV) “For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”
So before America is judged, the church is first in line.
But there’s a remedy.
1 Corinthians 11:31-32 (NKJV) “For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.”
One of the ways we condemn or pronounce judgment on ourselves is……
Proverbs 28:13 (NKJV) “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.”
How does a person “cover” their sin? It’s not by the atoning sacrifice of the Lord Jesus.
1 John 1:6 (NKJV) “If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.”
1 John 1:8 (NKJV) “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
So let’s confess and forsake our sin. Walk out on the sin that we love according to Mark 8:34-35, 1 Corinthians 10:13, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, 7:1, James 1:21, and Hebrews 12:4.
Ephesians 5:8-14 (NKJV) “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.
For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.
Therefore He says:
“Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”
Romans 13:11-14 (NKJV) “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand.
Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.”
1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (NKJV) “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things.
Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.
But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.”
I’ve wondered why the Dome of the Rock remains on the Temple Mount.
“The Dome of the Rock was built between AD 685 and 691 by the caliph ‘Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan, not as a mosque for public worship but rather as a mashhad, a shrine for pilgrims.”
The Dome of the Rock is considered by Muslims to be the 3rd of 4 holy sites in Islam. Accordingly, they believe that Mohammed went to heaven from Jerusalem, but his body is buried in Mecca at the Jaada. You can’t be at two places at the same time.
So the Palestinians, as I’ve stated and retracted, but now it’s without a doubt. That the Palestinians are really Jordanians. In Jordan, 70% of the Jordanian population is connected to the Palestinians.
I’ve wondered why Jordan had custodial watch over the Temple Mount.
It goes back to the 6 Day War where three countries were defeated by Israel.
The Egyptians, the Syrians, and the Jordanians.
These three countries were about to strike Israel in 1967 and Israel did a preemptive strike before these 3 countries were able to launch their attack.
It was a stunning defeat for Egypt, Syria, and Jordan.
It would be at this time that Israel retained the city of Jerusalem but Israel didn’t rule it entirely. The Jordanians were able to remain custodians of the Temple Mount. Now, for the first time, the US declared that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. And also acknowledging that the Golan Heights is Israeli territory. Angering Syria and the Muslim world.
Each year, during Ramadan, the Palestinians would have uprisings. For the last 2 years, 2020. and 2021, the uprising have increased. Ramadan 2022, would be no different.
They’ve used their place of prayer (Al Aqsa Mosque) as a staging area to throw stones over the retaining Western Wall where the Jews do their praying.
So why is the Dome of the Rock still there?
It’s a rock of offense to Israel. It’s used as a place of jealousy.
Even though the Christians are to be that place of jealousy to Israel, the Dome of the Rock, everyday, it sits in the eyes of the Israelis as a place of jealousy. Not that Islam is the true religion. But just the fact that Israel can’t worship on the Temple Mount, it’s culminating into a crescendo where Israel will have had enough.
Romans 11:11-12 (NKJV) “I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!”
Eventually, Israel will be restored. But this will occur in Revelation 19 and 20.
For 1000 years, Christ will establish His everlasting kingdom according to Daniel chapters 2, and 9, and from Zechariah chapters 12, 13, and 14.
We must have a Biblical world view. That is. To keep our eyes open to everything.
Even the distractions around us.
