Romans 5:12 (KJV)
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
Very few of preachers have addressed this the way that the Bible addresses this subject.
Hebrews 9:27 says….
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, after this the judgment.”
At the close of business today, 150,000 persons will enter eternity by death.
Romans 6:23 says,
“For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Galatians 3:22 tells us,
“The Scriptures confines all under sin…”
Romans 3:23 says,
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
Every man is under the death penalty for sin. The only way that you and I can come out from under the penalty of sin is to repent and be born again. Physical death for the true repentant of sin believer does two things.
One- it’s an incentive to be and stay in Christ.
Two- it reminds of the hope we have in Christ to be raised from the dead by justification in Christ.
Romans 3:24 says,
“Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that’s in Christ Jesus.”
But unless you realize that you’ve broken God’s commandments and that you’re guilty as charged, salvation isn’t a reality to you. Death serves as an incentive to repent and be born again.
Because death is a “sell by date.”
No religion on the planet will ever compare to the love of God that was demonstrated on the cross. God is love. God extends grace and offers forgiveness, but you can’t have forgiveness without repentance from dead works.
God is holy, just, and righteous. If we neglect so great a salvation, in hell, there is no mercy, grace, forgiveness, justification, redemption or heaven. God is also full of wrath and is to be feared above all gods.
All religions never sent someone to die for sin, paying our penalty, or was raised from the dead.
God the Father sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ to pay for the penalty of sin and was raised from the dead for our justification.
Hebrews 2:3 says,
“How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?”
Christ is the Only way. Not the best way (see John 14:6 and Acts 4:12).
Covid has brought about an awareness that death could happen.
Before Covid, death was a distant thought. We all know that death happens but disease, famine, earthquakes, and various environmental disasters like hurricanes, floods, and other events, when it hits people, it gives people pause as to how powerless humans are.
The fear of death is in everyone. Fake brave people all say that they’re not afraid of death, but watch their eyes when they see that casket with a body in it. They may put on a brave face but inside their minds, they see that they will go the way of all the earth.
Joshua 23:14 (NKJV)
“Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spoke concerning you.“
1 Kings 2:1-2 (NKJV)
“Now the days of David drew near that he should die, and he charged Solomon his son, saying: “I go the way of all the earth; be strong, therefore, and prove yourself a man.“
But look at how man reacts to pestilences. Especially Covid.
You kind of figure that the whole world would get behind finding a reasonable way to address a worldwide pandemic, but they’ve turned it into a slugfest to kill more people, or at the very least, injure them for the rest of their lives so as to be dependent upon a system that’s out to kill you.
It’s like telling a wolf not to kill you and wolf lies to you and tells you that it won’t kill you.
Then the wolf proceeds to kill you.
Who said we have to die and why we have to die?
The answer to this question is in the verse above. It happens to be a short version of what took place in the Garden of Eden just a few thousand years ago. God told Adam that he could freely eat of the trees of the Garden but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he shall not eat of it, for in the day that he eat of it he shall surely die.
A very simple commandment. Right?
In Revelation 12, we get the story of satan at war in heaven to dethrone God. 1 out of 3 angels sided in with the conspiracy and they were thrown out of heaven and cast to the earth. satan possessed a serpent and deceived Eve into eating from the tree that the Lord told Adam not to eat of. satan told Eve that she would not die.
Whether you believe the Bible or not, it will not stop death from coming.
satan lied to Eve and she ate of the tree. She then gave it to Adam and Adam ate. Their eyes were opened, they saw their shame.
So who lied and Who told the truth?
The graves, caskets, tombstones, urns (if you decide to cremate your body), all points to the One that told the truth, and revealed the one who lied.
Getting back to Covid vaccines.
We’re now seeing from Project Veritas has released undercover video regarding natural immunity and side affects from vaccines.
Whether you choose to be vaccinated or not, 2 Peter 1:10-11 applies.
We all try to do what’s best to avoid death, but death is coming and it will take you and I away. It’s a natural response to want to avoid death, but death comes regardless. We’re powerless to stop death. We may postpone it, but in the end, death will win.
Ecclesiastes 8:7-8 (NKJV)
“For he does not know what will happen;
So who can tell him when it will occur?
No one has power over the spirit to retain the spirit,
And no one has power in the day of death.
There is no release from that war,
And wickedness will not deliver those who are given to it.“
Our lives is like a vapor of smoke.
James 4:13-17 (NKJV)
“Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow.
For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.“
The only solution to death is to be in Christ.
John 6:53-54 (NKJV)
“Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.“
Eating His flesh and drinking His blood was considered vulgar to the hearers, but Jesus was speaking spiritually (see John 6:63).
The resurrection of the dead isn’t reincarnation (see 1 Corinthians chapter 15).
Remember. Jesus was raised from the dead as proof that for us in Christ, there is a resurrection of the righteous.
But there will also be a resurrection of the unjust.
John 5:24-29 (NKJV)
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.“
So, which will it be?
Raised from the dead to be with the Lord Jesus? Or be raised from the dead to be judged for sin and be in hell, the Great White Throne judgment, and cast into the lake of fire burning with brimstone forever?
The choice is up to you.
