What is misinformation?
“false or inaccurate information, especially that which is deliberately intended to deceive.”
When Jesus was crucified on the day of Passover, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus asked Pilate for the Body of Jesus for burial. According to Jewish law, dead bodies cannot remain hanging and it was the Preparation Day of the Passover.
Prior to this, the Jews asked Pilate to break the bones of the Lord Jesus and the two thieves crucified with Him because dead bodies cannot remain hanging. But the bones of the Lord Jesus wasn’t broken because He had already given up His spirit (see Deuteronomy 21:22-23 and John 19:31-37).
But the Jews remembered that Jesus said that He would be raised from the dead according to the Scriptures.
So a misinformation campaign or conspiracy took place.
Matthew 27:62-66 (NKJV)
“On the next day, which followed the Day of Preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate, saying, “Sir, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise.’
Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night and steal Him away, and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead.’ So the last deception will be worse than the first.”
Pilate said to them, “You have a guard; go your way, make it as secure as you know how.” So they went and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the guard.
But did you notice that they’ve called the Lord Jesus a “deceiver?” Can you see why they’ve attempted to call the truth misinformation? They were afraid that He would really come back from the dead. And that would be nothing but trouble and would establish that He IS the TRUE Son of God, the Messiah to come.
But they couldn’t circumvent, countermand, or prevent the power of God from raising Jesus from the dead.
Matthew 28:1-8 (NKJV)
“Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.
His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.
But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”
So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.”
Matthew 28:11-15 (NKJV) Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all the things that had happened. When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,
saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’ And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will appease him and make you secure.” So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.“
You see, the guards were there when the power of God raised Jesus from the dead. Make no mistake about it. The guards told the Sanhedrin what happened and what they’ve seen.
Today, misinformation is all around. Even with the vaccine, the mandates, and all sorts of manipulative means to trick people into taking a vaccine.
It doesn’t stop there.
When the president made an attempt to stop misinformation, we see that he and others were about suppressing the truth. Because if the truth ever gets out, then the people will not get vaccinated.
We all know that doctors are using other means to help people get well, but the people behind the scenes are desperately trying to keep people from these treatments that help people.
As with all medical advice, please consult a trusted physician and get more than one perspective. Never trust just one source.
And NEVER trust the government.
The government can’t make you get the vaccine or arrest you for not taking the vaccine, because you didn’t break the law.
You’ve simply ignored their mandate. You don’t even need to invoke a religious exemption, but it’s there for a reason, so you may need to use it IF YOU’RE TRUTHFUL!!
You’re a free moral agent. You make the choices that’s best for you and your family.
Government doesn’t make those decisions for you. Government never had your best interest in mind. So do your due diligence.
But the world is the world and the true believer, that knows the Bible and the God of the Bible will never fall for the slight of hand of calling the truth misinformation.
Take The Jab And Shut Up. Don’t Question Government.
And that’s why half of the country will not take the jab. Half the country will not shut up and take the jab. Half of the country will question government.
Just imaging the church imposing religion on people like the government imposing mandates to get the vaccine.
They would be the first ones to holler “Separation of church and state,” although there’s no statement of clause with this specific language. And lawyers will point out that the burden of the 1st Amendment is on the government, not the church.
There’s no question in my mind that if we were to mandate that everyone is to get saved, they would fight us tooth and nail. And that’s why man has a free will.
But it comes with serious eternal consequences with regard to salvation.
Yes, it would be nice to make people get saved, but you know what will happen?
God doesn’t want and will never get robotic worship from fallen man.
Man’s “heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked…”
So God, in His infinite wisdom, designed salvation for all who want to give up sin and take His terms of salvation. To repent and place their full faith in Jesus for the redemption of sin to be saved. He will NOT make you get saved. Even though He knows that salvation is your best choice.
But fallen man hates God because they love sin (see John 3:17-21, 15:18-25).
On the other hand, there’s plenty of misinformation about Christ and salvation.
Misinformation like “You’re forgiven.” “You can enter heaven by doing good works.” “Because you’ve done wonderful works, or you’ve died a horrific death, you get to go to heaven.” “That you’re a good person and good people go to heaven.” “That there’s many ways to God.” “That all religions lead to the same God.” “My good deeds will outweigh my bad deeds on Judgment day.”
Let’s look at the first time misinformation came.
According to Revelation 12:7-12, Isaiah 14:12-17, and Ezekiel 28:11-19, this is the very first place where misinformation was born among the perfect angels in heaven. Yes, the angels were created with perfection, but they had free wills.
Then after Adam and Eve were created, this is the beginning of misinformation called “lies from the father of lies (see John 8:44).
Genesis 3:1-7 (NKJV)
“Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'”
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.”
The funerals we attend, the burials, the cremations, the tombstones all told us Who told the truth, and who lie or had given man misinformation.
For the duration, man’s fallen nature spews out misinformation to intentionally deceive the people for monetary gains. It’s always been about the love of money (see 1 Timothy 6:10).
So more misinformation is coming.
The place where there’s no misinformation is in God’s Word.
God can be trusted because He cannot lie. It’s impossible for God to lie.
When You have all power, all knowledge, and You’re everywhere at the same time, there’s no reason to lie.
