The Battle Of Information

When it comes to the world of information, the world is confused. But the information and misinformation is deliberate. It’s calculated. Misinformation is everywhere. But the child of God that’s trained in the heart to discern the difference between what’s good and evil, right and wrong, lies, and the truth, will be able to make the right choices.

Only the ones that fail to get information will make bad choices out of confusion.

However, true believers in Jesus, that know the Word, aren’t confused.

1 Corinthians 14:33 (NKJV Strong’s) “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.”

So, when true believers aren’t confused, it’s because they know the Lord isn’t confused.

As ministers of the true gospel of Jesus Christ, we must never be as confused as the world.

When true believers know the true Word of God that came from the true and living God, we reject the lies and everything that is false. We must pursue the truth and run from the lies.

Isaiah 5:20-21 (NKJV Strong’s)

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
And prudent in their own sight!”

This Scripture reveals confusion.

Here’s some more confusion….

Ecclesiastes 8:14 (NLT)

“And this is not all that is meaningless in our world. In this life, good people are often treated as though they were wicked, and wicked people are often treated as though they were good. This is so meaningless!”

We see this with lawlessness. Where a person steals and is never arrested, tried, and convicted before a jury of their peers. NO. Criminals are let go with no bail. Police catch and release criminals to commit more crime. Good lawful police officers are afraid to do their jobs for fear of being arrested for doing their job. We know that there’s bad apples in every place, but we must have good police to arrest the bad guys.

The COVID situation and the election has brought about so much confusion that people don’t know what to believe. And that’s because when a person says something and doesn’t keep their word, we end up distrusting them and others.

For inference, Dr. Fauci was against mask mandates, and now, he vouches for a mask mandate. The Surgeon General at the beginning of the year spoke about no masks and then changes his mind. The CDC has been vacillating the whole policy agenda to the point where they can’t be trusted.

Then it spills into the houses of worship through pastors.

If there’s one person that need to be consistent is the true pastor.

I admit. When the coronavirus hit the US, I fell along the lines of using caution. March 23rd 2020, was our last service. April and the first Sunday in May, we did our services on Zoom. All in an effort to not put people at risk for this disease. Obviously, you know we were in the state with the highest contraction and death rate.

Brooklyn, New York.

Here I am. A pastor that is to tell the people to trust in the Lord, and we closed the doors.

Thousands of houses of worship have closed their doors. Then the governors and mayors imposed unConstitutional restrictions on the believers. The Constitution is the second document we live by. The Bible is the first.

However, there’s unprecedented powers given to governors and mayors in emergency situations. But even with these powers, the houses of worship can’t be forced to close. The house of prayer is God’s house. Not man’s. Most people will argue and say that it’s about saving lives.

Great point.

John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

The house of worship is built by Jesus to save lives. Because when you die, if you’re not saved, your life is lost. But you will say, “I don’t want to die.”

Then get saved. So that when you die, the Lord will resurrect your body to newness of life.

So, it’s ok to go to Walmart. For politicians to hold press conferences. It’s ok to go to the grocery store. To put gas in your car. And to go to Home Depot.

But to go to church, it’s illegal.

Almost 9 months after all of these things, we’ve learned that masks is still a questionable form of security. We’ve learned that social distancing is questionable. 6 feet is advocated but the people carrying the disease may cough and the cough may spread the disease past 21 feet or more. Hand washing. Not too many people stay in the bathroom to wash their hands for over 20 seconds.

Do we dispense with any wise recommendations to prevent acquisition of the disease?

Absolutely not.

Then there’s the election.

Most people have made up their minds. But take out a W2 form.

In box number two is the election.

Will you pay more or less? It all depends on who you vote for.

Box number 2 is the federal withholding box.

Most people don’t look at box 2. They pay more attention to their net pay.

Several things took place during the Trump administration.

  1. Your federal withholding was decreased. But when you file your 1040, your standard deduction increased. But also, depending upon your situation, your state and local tax is capped, and your property tax is capped at 10,000.
  2. And the amount of money for each dependent increased.

So you should see less tax liability dependent upon your income.

All this may change, depending upon who you vote for.

So, did you investigate both candidates? If you did, you’re an informed voter. If you didn’t investigate, you’re a misinformed voter.

You can eliminate the confusion by searching for information and then share that information. Sadly, SOME people will not search for the candidate that will give you two things.

Candidates that align with the Word of God more than the other candidate. And their policies that positively and negatively affect you. When you fail to do your due diligence to see the contrast between two candidates, your vote will play a role.

Thank God that Daniel chapters 2 and 5, Psalm 75, and Acts 17:26 are there.

The Lord already knows who will be in office.

And our trust must be in the Lord according to Jeremiah 17:5-10 and Proverbs 3:5.

SO if you’re still confused. Just remember these things.

  1. The Lord is in control and man is out of control.

2. Your federal withholding will be affected, one way or another.

3. The person in the WH will project policy that will positively or negatively affect you.

The Minister's Crucible is designed to inform the Body of Christ about the inner workings of the ministry. The word Crucible from Latin, is "crux" where we get the word "cross" from. It also means a "metal container" where metals and other substances are melted or are subjected to higher temperatures, put to the temperature test. The Lord Jesus said "If any man desires to follow after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me." Let's take up our cross and follow Him.
