The Rush To The End Of The End Times

The coming of the Lord is drawing closer. BUT THE END ISN’T YET!!!

Jesus told us that we’re to watch. Don’t get tired of this subject. This isn’t the time to get tired and turn over and sleep some more.

This means to pay attention. Since COVID and an economic shut down, we’ve been forced to reassess how we approach the current events. To fail to address these times with the end times in mind is a clear abdication of duty to deal with the whole counsel of God.

So let’s look at the signs and pay attention.

Remember what Paul said…

Romans 13:12-14 (NKJV Strong’s)

“The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.”

Let’s look at some of what the Lord Jesus told us concerning His coming.

Revelation 22:12-13 (NKJV Strong’s)

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

Revelation 22:20-21 (NKJV Strong’s)

“He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”

James 5:7-9 (NKJV Strong’s)

Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!

So when will the end come?

Matthew 24:14 (NKJV Strong’s)

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

Communicating by cell phone and other technological means will aid in the preaching of the gospel throughout the whole world.

The events on the world stage is happening faster than we could keep up. But a lot of pieces have yet to be assembled. We do know that the current events of our time have been the most volatile in history but the Lord gave us signs to look for His coming.

When we’re driving, warning signs that the exit is about to come are necessary. It prepares us to get off at the exit so we don’t pass where we need to get off the expressway. Drive too fast, and you will miss the exit. Not paying attention? You will miss the exit.

The most embarrassing thing is to miss the exit when GPS (God’s Positioning System- the Bible) warned you that the exit is near.

If we’ve been paying attention to the times, between 2008 and 2016, more has been done to allow homosexuality to become normal in America and around the world. This ties in with what Jesus said in Matthew about the days of Noah and Lot.

Matthew 24:36-39 (NKJV Strong’s)

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

Luke 17:26-30 (NKJV Strong’s)

“And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.”

Notice that Noah went into the ark and Lot departed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, then destruction came. God will not destroy the righteous with the wicked.

And if that’s not enough, look at what Paul shared about homosexuality in…

Romans 1:26-32 (NKJV Strong’s)

“For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”

This includes, transgenderism, and now, the rise of pedophilia to be legalized.

Matthew 24:11 (NKJV Strong’s)

“Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.”

Matthew 24:23-25 (NKJV Strong’s)

“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.”

2 Peter 2:1-3 (NKJV Strong’s)

“But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.”

Jude 1:4 (NKJV Strong’s)

“For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Jude 1:16 (NKJV Strong’s)

“These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.”

Just line up the fact that when a word they say doesn’t come to pass, and then just to get you in the seat, they preach strange unScriptural doctrines.

Galatians 1:6-9 (NKJV Strong’s)

“I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.”

Matthew 24:6-8 (NKJV Strong’s)

“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

Three things. Famines. Pestilences (COVID and other yet to come to pass diseases), and earthquakes.

But note also Romans 8:22 (NKJV Strong’s)

“For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.”

Matthew 24:12 (NKJV Strong’s)
“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”

Riots, defund the police, burning, looting. Need we say anymore?

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 (NKJV Strong’s)

“Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”

Now notice that the man of sin is the beast as spoken of in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. But the event prior to this will be a clear defection of true believers, returning to satan’s kingdom. But not just true believers. People that were never believers. They pretended to be a believer and then emerge to deceive many.

2 Timothy 4:1-4 (NKJV Strong’s)

“I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”

What doctrine will defectors endure?

1 Timothy 4:1-2 (NKJV Strong’s)

“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron…”

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NKJV Strong’s)

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”

The word perilous means, “Difficult, dangerous, fierce.”

The list, in and of itself reveals the nature and character of people during fierce times. And to boot, note they will look like they’re a part of the Body. They go to church. They attend service. They act spiritual. They speak in tongues (wrongly). They’re loud and boisterous. They’re involved in witchcraft and others forms of wickedness to appear saved, but when it comes to being delivered, they deny God’s power (see Romans 1:16).

There’s other end time signs we may have missed but I made an effort to pick the prevalent ones because it’s important that we pay attention to the clear obvious signs. Any additional signs that concur with Scripture, further establishes the fact that we’re living in the last of the last days.

Also I find that a lot of end times teachers seek to be the “go to” on end times affairs. They make sensational headlines out of the news headlines to appear to have the inside track on knowing exactly what’s happening.

And more often, they end up wrong. Misleading a lot of people. We need to understand that events of our times will happen, but for the most part, just one or even other events need other working parts. As Paul said, “We know in part and we prophesy in part.”

We get bits and pieces but it rarely leads to a definitive Biblically confirmed conclusion.

It’s very important that we pay attention and not miss the next most important event of our time. There’s also a lot of pre-trib, mid-trib, and post trib believers that make a mountain out of a mole hill. They will argue all day about their position on the rapture or coming of the Lord known as the Second Coming.

These arguments are a part of a large debate but the two things that the Lord Jesus said for us to do, watch and be ready.

We’ll either be like the 5 wise or 5 foolish virgins as recorded in Matthew 25.

The Minister's Crucible is designed to inform the Body of Christ about the inner workings of the ministry. The word Crucible from Latin, is "crux" where we get the word "cross" from. It also means a "metal container" where metals and other substances are melted or are subjected to higher temperatures, put to the temperature test. The Lord Jesus said "If any man desires to follow after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me." Let's take up our cross and follow Him.
