Preaching George Floyd Into Heaven

At the final homegoing service for George Floyd, we see that many will not want to deal with the actual facts of the life of George Floyd.

Before you read this, your emotions will get heated and when emotions get heated, truth is rejected. Truth cares nothing about how we feel. Truth cares about one thing. Truth.

Just because a person holds a Bible, are we doing what the Book says?

We get so upset about anyone holding the Bible but no one gets upset about how we’re supposed to do the Book.

James 1:22 says “Be doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

Matthew 7:21-23

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

You can’t practice lawlessness and get into heaven.

You can sing, do good works, and many wonderful things, but if you never repented and are born again, you can’t get into heaven.

The police officers that are responsible for George Floyd’s death. It was done out of hatred. But they’re entitled to be saved too should they repent and be born again. Should they refuse to get saved,

1 John 3:15

“Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.”

In three services, there’s no mention of any preacher vouching for George being a saved and born again believer. The injustice of his murder has blinded us to why we’re here in the first place.

Many have said George Floyd believe in God.

James 2:19

“You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!”

In the Bible, there is no record of men on earth taking on the wings of angels.

When it comes to the actual record, we can’t shoo it away.

No man is perfect. Romans 3:23 is clear that “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” But we fail to look at verse 24. “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus.”

Just because people die tragically it doesn’t give any preacher the right to preach them into heaven. There’s only One Way into heaven.

A tragedy isn’t enough to assume people are in heaven.

It’s out of our emotions that we say these things because we don’t want to say the truth to hurt family members as they’re already grieving heavily. To inflict pain upon pain will seem unjust and unwarranted.

It’s been said that if you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all. But the One Person that’s exempt from that is the Lord. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, God tells us the truth whether we want to hear it or not.

Where is the soul of George Floyd?

Is he in heaven? Or is he in hell?

A tragedy isn’t a permit into heaven.

Jesus said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, NO MAN comes unto the Father except by ME.”

Did George Floyd get to heaven through the Way, Truth, and Life?

A tragedy isn’t a permit into heaven.

Also, the Bible tells us this…….

James 5:19-20

“Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.”

Did anyone try to turn George Floyd back to the Lord?

As speaker after speaker came to talk about George Floyd, they spoke of the good works that George Floyd undoubtedly has done. His YouTube video talking about kids should stop gang banging and get education.

It’s great advice.

But good works is not a permit into heaven.

Ephesians 2:8-9

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

Isaiah 64:6

“But we are all like an unclean thing,
And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags;
We all fade as a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind,
Have taken us away.”

Romans 3:12

“They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;”
There is none who does good, no, not one.”

Now if George Floyd is in heaven, the record must show whether by person, or by video, that he gave his heart to the Lord. But when a person gives their heart to the Lord, the Bible says……

Matthew 7:17-20

“Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”

In order for a good tree to produce fruit, the tree has to be created. The requirement to get into heaven is what Jesus said.

John 3:3

“Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Is George Floyd born again? If he is, there must be a record. And if there is a record, and if he is born again, he is in heaven. Being born again begins with this verse.

Matthew 4:17

“From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Many have said that he turned his life around. But you see, you can’t turn your life around because we are incapable of changing ourselves. Anytime we try to change or turn our lives around, we do it our way with our rules and without God.

At the time of his arrest, he allegedly attempted to make a purchase with a counterfeit $20 bill. The events of this tragedy started with a fake $20 bill. Think about it.

The autopsy report is clear evidence of fentanyl intoxication, and methamphetamines which SOME MSM outlets doesn’t want to publish for fear of tainting the reputation of George Floyd.

So, if the $20 dollar bill was fake, where did he get it? Was it planted by the store clerk? Is there video evidence of the transaction? Regarding the drug use, there’s many professed believers trapped in the vices of the world. Does this condemn them to hell?

You see, when you’re truly in Christ, the elements of the world doesn’t have a hold on you according to John 8:32 “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” Romans 6:1 says “Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid.”

So before we become so quick to preach George Floyd into heaven, let someone come forward with the record to clearly show that someone led George Floyd’s into repentance from dead works and faith towards God. Making Jesus Christ his Lord, and with good fruit as proof of a redeemed life. Let the record show that George made his call and election sure.

But also that for those officers, they’re entitled to be saved, redeemed, and set free. For the Lord isn’t willing “that ANY should perish but that ALL should come to repentance.”

These Scriptures is the requirement for getting into heaven. A tragedy isn’t a permit, and good works isn’t a permit into heaven. Only through Jesus can a man see the kingdom of heaven.

The Minister's Crucible is designed to inform the Body of Christ about the inner workings of the ministry. The word Crucible from Latin, is "crux" where we get the word "cross" from. It also means a "metal container" where metals and other substances are melted or are subjected to higher temperatures, put to the temperature test. The Lord Jesus said "If any man desires to follow after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me." Let's take up our cross and follow Him.
