2 Timothy 3:1
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
Never before has this nation come closer to full anarchy. The calls to defund the police. The peaceful protests and riots hiding behind the “mask” of peaceful protests has blinded the minds of professed believers.
The picture of George Floyd dying on a pavement by a veteran officer’s knee sparked a national protest. The calls for his and three other officers’ arrests resulted in an emboldening of a group of people to completely change the fabric of this nation.
These are the most dangerous times some of us have ever seen. We’ve never seen these events take a nation to the brink of irreparable as it can get. The national debt is at 23 TRILLION dollars. 20 million Americans unemployed. Over 300,000 small businesses are likely never to return. Millions of once true believers are now CINO’s.
Christian In Name Only.
They go to church, sing a few songs, get the “Holy Ghost” and dance in front of people, quote Scripture, shout, and then return to their lives of living in sin, watching worldly, sensual movies, rebel against the Word and the Holy Spirit, and pretend to think that God is pleased with them.
The disease that caused the deaths of over 100,000 people, whether directly affected or contributed to underlying conditions, mixed with new infections by sending infected people to uninflected people in nursing homes. This significantly and undoubtedly increased the numbers of death.
Governors have taken advantage by closing sports arenas, jobs, businesses, and houses of worship. But what happened?
The abuse of power was exposed by the murder of George Floyd.
Rioters and protesters completely ignored social distancing rules, with masks on, and by the millions, they’ve marched the streets. We don’t know if there’s will be a spike in new cases of COVID-19.
Should a spike occur, we can expect new lock down regulations, the revisiting of economic shutdowns. And a complete power grab with enforcement.
Defunding the police is a clear call to destroy the current law enforcement system and replace it with a much more vicious law enforcement system.
It will require taking away your Constitutional rights. It will require you to no longer have the 5th Amendment “due process” rights. You could be accused of something, and the legal means to defend yourself will not be enjoyed.
Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearing, was guilty and he was told. That he had to prove his innocence. For believers in Jesus, we’re already guilty beyond a reasonable doubt unless we deny Him.
But even then, they will not believe your evidence that exonerate you. Exculpatory evidence will not be accepted because when people want you to be guilty, there’s no way out.
Zechariah chapters 12 through 14 clearly indicates that ALL nations will be against Israel. Including the United States. That’s right. One day, we will be an enemy of Israel. America’s superpower status is coming to a close.
Daniel chapter 2 speaks of an everlasting kingdom that Christ will bring to bring a close to these dangerous, perilous times. The saving of America is not going to happen because Christ must bring His everlasting kingdom. There’s no way to save a dying patient in CODE BLUE.
Never before have we’ve seen the world become one like in Nimrod’s day. The protest of one person in the United States is now a worldwide protest in addition to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The whole world is affected by both incidents.
These are challenging days and any return to normal is not happening.
We’re witnessing a clear change of direction for the whole world.
The only thing that we can do is to be found faithful in the Lord because as the world changes its posture, the true believers are going to be affected.
All of the nice services will be a thing of the past.
Persecution such as never seen in the United States will be a clear signal that it will be more dangerous than ever before. But we need to be found faithful to the Lord regardless of how many professed believer defect and return to the kingdom of darkness.
Dangerous times for believers will be no more dangerous than for the early believers. We must prepare the people and be prepared because the trials of these times will increase.
